Luke Coxhead is a photographer and artist from Surrey, England, currently residing in the United States. He has a passion for storytelling through photography and has a key interest in rural environments, costume, and the weird & wonderful.

Starting his photographic journey in 2012, Luke studied Photography for over seven years and graduated from Southampton Solent University in 2019 with a BA Honours in Photography. He continued his photographic journey into the United States, where he became fascinated with the rustic architecture dotted along the New England coastline.

Luke’s work focuses on identity. Whether it’s about a subject within the frame or the photographer themselves, a photograph can display an unmatched truth about any desired topic. The concept of identity is often associated with people, however, Luke aims to find an identity in everything and personify every subject within the frame. He believes that everybody has a story to tell.

Throughout his professional journey into photography, Luke has produced media and marketing content for numerous clients in both the United Kingdom and the United States, including Shreddies, Ebner Camps Inc, and The New Milford Police Department. In 2023, his photo of Lindsay and the Butterfly won the ACA Golden Lens Award and was featured on the cover of the ACA Camping Magazine. His work has also been displayed in exhibitions across Southampton, Guildford, and London in the UK. Currently, he lives in Connecticut with his wife and two cats.
